A lot of money for a knock off

I purchased these shoes after seeing them in the Stuart Weitzman store. I bought them in silver and was so excited especially because they were a lot less expensive than in the store. When I received them they so clearly appeared to be a knock off and a bad one at that that I had to return them the same day. The stitching was terrible the quality of construction and materials were poor nothing like the authentic shoes sold at the Stuart Weitzman stores and at higher end dept stores. Comfortable sexy sandal

Sometimes you see a shoe and it piques your interest you get it and blech. Well I can tell you this shoe is really cute and cute on and VERY comfortable..works great with jeans skirts anything! The best sandles ever!

I owned a pair of these back when I was in high school and I loved them so much I wore them down to the cork and then some. Recently my boyfriend mentioned that he wanted to purchase a pair because he tried on his brother's birks and found them to be really comfortable. We both ordered a pair online and we love them so much that we even where them inside the house.



According to the Birkenstock website narrow is a North American equivalent of normal so if your width is normal order the narrow. The sizes are true to size so you can't go wrong ordering online. If you're unsure of which size to order order the smaller one. I'm usually a size 7.5-8 and I ordered the 7-7.5 size (38). The soft footbed is great for me since I have flat feet and now I wonder why it took me over 10 years to replace my first pair.

A work of art...

These shoes are beyond beautiful. They are truly a work of art. The construction is flawless and the pictures really don't do them justice. The leather practically molds to your foot and the ankle straps ensure a snug and secure fit.

Lastly but most importantly they're comfortable. Though no heel feels like my Jordans I wore these for an entire 6 hour shopping adventure without any problems.



I own this shoe as well as the Dior Extreme in black. I find myself reaching for these more. I prefer this shoe's look and feel. (It doesn't hurt that there aren't any knockoffs of these either!)



This was my first Stuart Weitzman purchase and I'm very impressed.

Gorgeous and comfy

I am over the moon for this shoe! It has all the features I want in a shoe: chunky heel; rubber sole; quality materials and foot friendly. From its first wear to several months later this shoe has not hurt my feet once. I also have narrow feet so am pleased the fit is true to size. Also I bought this in Polo tan. Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn

This is my SECOND pair of Ava slides. I highly recommend them. One pair for the house and one for going out/running errands (I live in a war climate). I wear these everyplace I can. Extremely comfortable/cushy shoe though runs a quarter size larger for my feet. In spite of comfort shoe exacerbates a personal foot problem related to flat feet. The Perfect Sandal

I have big feet - and so I am limited in the brands and styles of sandals I can wear. I just bought my fourth pair of these sandals and I get between two and three years wear from each pair of sandals.



This is especially good when you consider that I live in Florida and wear sandals almost all the time.



They generally stay on because they have ridges on the insole that your feet can grab. The arch support is excellent.



I have never had the uppers fail - eventially I wear the soles clean off and then they need to be replaced. More detail ...

Great for high arches

I love these sandals. I have high arches and have trouble finding sandals that offer good support and are stylish. I love my birkenstocks but they aren't as cute. I tried on several styles of Dansko sandals including the Sunny (also very cute) but found that the Marions had the best support. They have the same footbed as the clogs (which i have had for years and love).



At first I wasn't sure if i was going to keep them because they seemed to be a bit hot and the leather footbed got slick. I had seen this issue reported in other reviews. I loved the comfort though and wore them around for a few days. I am happy to report that this problem went away after I wore them and broke them in.



I have been wearing them everywhere literally in the middle of July and have had no issues. I do a lot of walking. I have been wearing them around the house even because they are so comfy. They are very true to size.



They look great with jeans or a skirt (I have worn them with both). To be honest they didn't catch my eye until I tried them on. They definitley look better in person that in the picture. Friends and family who have tried them on want to buy them too.



This brand was reccomended to my mom by her physical therapist because of their great support. I cannot reccomend them enough.More detail ...
